Privacy Policy

1. Data Collected via This Website

While this website does not host an interactive contact form, personal data is processed when you engage with the site in the following ways:

  • Calendar Booking Link: If you click the link to book an initial consultation or session, you will be asked to provide your name, email address, and phone number. This booking system is powered by a secure, GDPR-compliant third-party platform (Zoho Bookings), acting as a data processor on my behalf.

  • Direct Contact: If you choose to contact me using the phone number or email address listed on this landing page, I will process your contact details and the contents of your message to respond to your inquiry.

  • Cookies: This website utilizes cookies to ensure basic site functionality and to understand visitor behavior. Please refer to the Cookie Policy on my banner to adjust your preferences.

Lawful Basis for Processing: Legitimate Interests (to manage business inquiries and schedule clinical consultations) and Consent (granted when you actively fill out the booking calendar).

2. Trainee Status, Confidentiality & Supervision

I am a trainee psychotherapist currently studying at The Human Givens Institute and practicing under clinical supervision.

  • Clinical Supervision: In accordance with the ethical framework of the Human Givens Institute, my clinical work is regularly reviewed by a qualified supervisor. Any case material discussed is completely anonymised. Your identifying web data (like your email address or full name) is never shared with my supervisor or training institution.

  • Limits of Confidentiality: All interactions via the booking link or direct communication are confidential. The only exceptions are if I believe there is a severe risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or if I am legally compelled to disclose information by a court of law.

3. Data Storage and Retention

  • Inquiries that do not proceed: If you book an initial consultation or email me, but we decide not to work together, your digital contact details and booking information will be permanently deleted within 6 months.

  • If you become a client: If we enter into a therapeutic agreement, a separate, comprehensive Clinical Privacy Contract will be provided to you. This will outline how your clinical notes, medical data, and long-term retention policies are managed.

4. Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to request access to the information I hold about you, to request that inaccuracies be corrected, or to request that your contact data be deleted from my scheduling system.
